    Cremation Services Give Breaks

    December 19, 2022

Figuring out what you need to do for a loved one who has passed on and carrying out those plans can be burdensome. You have already lost a loved one and you are overwhelmed with grief. You want to care for their needs, but it can be hard to make decisions in the fog of emotions. While funerals are very popular, honorable, and bring traditions into play, cremation services can give you and your family members a break from certain areas. Here are a few things that allow you to have a break after the death has occurred.

    Break In Pricing Options

Cremation gives clients a huge break where the prices are concerned. Funerals generally cost quite a bit and it can be hard to gather the funds needed. Cremation services don’t have nearly as many products or services involved and that will bring the initial costs down a lot and keep them there. Families can get quite a bit of relief from knowing their loved one’s remains are cared for, and they have a lower cost to deal with in the end.

    Timeline Pressure

Cremation services allow you to put other services on whatever timeline you want, and that can give you a huge break from the norm, too. When you have a funeral, everything has to happen within a few days of the person’s death. But with cremation, you can have direct cremation done and after that is complete, you can do whatever you want for your loved one at any time. You can have a memorial service right away, or you can do something a few weeks, a month, or longer down the road when you are ready to plan things out and carry them forward. That can be a big relief and a great break for families.

    Traditional Breaks

There’s nothing wrong with the traditions that go into funeral services and some families find them necessary to carry them out and move forward in the right manners. But for those who feel like the traditions are more of a burden, cremation can give them a break from that path and set them on another that feels right to them.

    Planning Stress

Funeral plans are arduous and can get to be too much when there’s grief and a lot of other things going on at once. There’s a tight timeline and decisions have to be made in short order and carried out as such. Cremation services allow you to place the plans on the backburner. You can plan a little at a time on your own timeline and that can take a lot of the stress out of the situation.

Funeral homes don’t offer services that aren’t completely honorable and respectful. Cremation services are one such option and they allow you to take breaks from some elements that will aid your family in certain ways. If you feel this is the best path for your loved one and the rest of your family, move in that direction and at your own pace.
